About Us

SALALAH MACARONI COMPANY was established in the Sultanate of Oman in 2007 and began manufacturing and marketing dry pasta in October 2008 with the annual capacity of 36,000 metric tons scheduled for additional growth to 144,000 metric tons per year in phases, the infrastructure for which is already in place to expand the visibility and presence of SALALAH MACARONI COMPANY’S name by bringing value-added brand products to the market. With the experience and expertise of our technologists we will continue to explore global markets and position SALALAH MACARONI COMPANY as a robust and capable player in the global pasta market through the combined commitment of our professionals in developing new and innovative products.

Since its inception in the year 2007, the company is continually advancing to meet the vision of being a role model industry in the Sultanate following the organizational values which are deeply embedded in its DNA.

Within its first year of operation (i.e. 2009) after commissioning production in 2008, SALALAH MACARONI COMPANY SAOC was accorded with prestigious ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004 and 22000:2005 certificates for Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and Food Safety Management System respectively ensuring the global customers that its brands/products are in compliance to the worldwide/global quality standards.

Employing the latest and advanced technology form FAVA spa Italy and Buhler Uzwill Switzerland, the company is capable to set up itself as the largest manufacturer of dry pasta in ARAB-ASIA elevating its production competence from 36,000 MT/annum to 90,000 MT/annum for both long and short pasta.

With the value-added flagship brand PASTA AL KAHREEF in the Sultanate of Oman PASTA AL SAFWA in Yemen and PASTA ROSA, ULTIMA, FIORA etc in East Africa, the company is able to penetrate successfully in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Yemen, Kuwait, Angola, Zambia, Ethiopia, Tanzania and constantly striving to position itself in other global markets.

Being backed up by SALALAH MILLS COMPANY SAOG as their advance amalgamator in coordination with two leading foreign business entities i.e. AFRICAN HORN COMPANY LLC and SABSON, I am confident that SALALAH MACARONI COMPANY SAOC will continue to project itself as a force to reckon with in the competitive and volatile global market place.

A Profile and milestones achieved in 5 years since inception!

    ➤  2007: Established as an SAOC company for manufacturing and marketing of dry pasta.

    ➤  2008: In October, commissioned production line # 1 for spaghetti with a capacity of 36,000 MT/annum.

    ➤  2009: In August, accorded with prestigious ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004 and 22000:2005 certificates.

    ➤  2011: In January, commissioned production line # 1 for short pasta with a capacity of 18,000 MT/annum.

    ➤  2011: In June, commissioned production line # 2 for spaghetti with a capacity of 36,000 MT/annum.

    ➤  2011: Awarded His Majesty’s Cup for the best Factory in Oman

    ➤  2012: Honored by His Majesty’s Award for the best Factory in Oman

    ➤  2013: Signed a pact for production line #3 for spaghetti having a capacity of 36,000 MT/annum with fava spa Italy.

    ➤  2013: Awarded His Majesty's Cup for the best Factory in Oman

    ➤  2014: Commissioning of production line #3 for spaghetti anticipated by March having a capacity of 36,000 MT/annum.

With a production capacity of 90,000 MT/annum of both long and short pasta, we are the largest manufacturers in ARAB-ASIA region.
